I am Kowsheek, a software developer by trade who loves building great products backed by interesting technologies. I’ve worked on my own startups and consulted as a fractional CTO. More recently, I’ve been working at BRIO building a platform for 3D and Augmented and Virtual Reality presentation.
Outside of work, I enjoy being physically active, but due to a car accident, I have had to take a hiatus. I’ve written about my journey to recovery, in which the ErgoDox EZ plays a big part. I’m studying and writing a lot more nowadays, so the keyboard’s really being put through its paces.
I have a Microsoft Surface Book 2 and a MacBook Pro 15-inch that I use with my ErgoDox EZ and Dell UltraSharp U2720Q. I switch between the devices depending on projects and their requirements. I am usually wearing Sony WH1-000XM3 headphones while working, but I’ll often switch it up to Sennheiser Momentum 2 headphones to attentively listen to my favorite albums.
I use several physical notebooks: one for work, another for study notes, and others for ideas and thoughts.
Given that I switch between operating systems often, I heavily rely on Google Chrome and GitHub to keep things synchronized.
For development, I use Visual Studio Code, and Spotify helps me stay productive.
When I was purchasing the keyboard, the customer service personnel helped me quite a bit with my questions, and I settled on the Kailh Box White keycaps. They are a joy to type on!
I wanted to have a smooth transition to the new keyboard, so I set up a layout that felt intuitive.
I’m working towards building myself a house in the woods with tall glass windows. Otherwise, I am quite happy with my current setup, but I’m on the lookout for a better chair.
